Artist Statement

"As an artist deeply connected to the ancient art of terracotta sculpting, I find myself entranced by the intimate dialogue between clay and emotion. Much like a painter delicately brushes their thoughts onto a canvas, I shape the malleable clay into stories of the heart and mind."

My sculptures are not just objects—they are reflections of the human experience, capturing the delicate dance of emotion and abstraction that defines us all. With each stroke, I find solace and meaning, a reminder of the beauty that lies within the eternal dance of creation. Without the constraints of armature, my sculptures take on a life of their own, soaring into the realm of the ethereal with a grace that mirrors the flutter of the soul. Each piece is a labor of love, unfolding slowly over the course of months, a testament to the patience and dedication required to breathe life into clay.

Terracotta, with its ancient lineage, serves as my canvas for modern expression. I seek to elevate its timeless beauty to a global stage, infusing it with contemporary sensibilities and personal style. In the quiet moments of creation, I lose myself in the rhythm of the process, feeling as though I am simply a vessel through which art flows effortlessly. It is in these moments that I am most connected to my work, my soul pouring forth onto the clay with every gentle touch.
