BROOKLYN, NY - January 18, 2012 / - Basha Maryanska, a frequent Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery competition artist is pleased to announce that she is a participating artist in the 13th Annual WAH Salon Art Club Show.
The WAH Center (Williamsburg Art & Historical Center) is holding this art exhibition between the dates of January 21 and February 19, 2012. The opening of this exhibition will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 between the hours of 4:00 PM and 6:00PM and the public is invited to attend. The WAH Center offers an artist membership program called the "WAH Salon Art Club." It gives exposure to artists of a wide range and spectrum, from established to emerging artists. It fulfills one of the WAH Center’s missions based upon the WAH Founder’s "Bridge Concept."
At the Salon, fine art can meet functional art (craft) and performing art (music, dance, theater and poetry). Technology can also give means to artistic expression. Basha Maryanska is an internationally recognized artist and has been exhibiting her art around the world since obtaining her MFA at Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland in 1979. She has received awards for her numerous group and solo shows in media ranging from painting, sculpture, installation, fiber art, as well as for performance art to photography and graphics.
