BEAUFORT, SC - September 6, 2013 - / Eve Miller is elated to announce that her pastel “Atlantic Surf" was accepted into the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club Annual Open Exhibition in Manhattan, New York. This National Juried Exhibition has been in existence since 1896.
The Annual Show celebrates the best in 2D art and sculpture. This event is considered to be a prestigious event that sponsors the curating of art at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Eve’s art has now been accepted for two consecutive years into this event.
"Atlantic Surf" is a representational seascape. It depicts the surf from Hunting Island outside of Beaufort, S.C. The sensuality of churning waters is as energetic as the currents that create the waves. There is interplay between the lights and shadows created by the vigor of the ocean.
The 117th Annual Open Exhibition will be on display from October 1, through to the 25th at the National Arts Club in Manhattan-Gramercy Park South, New York. It is a very desirable venue and their website is http://www.clwac.org.
