The “Solo Art Series” is a series of monthly solo art exhibitions for established artists who have a body of work to present to the public. Artist participants were asked to submit the following 3 components for the “Solo Art Series” competition; 1. Their art. 2. Their artist biography. 3. Their artist statement. These elements were evaluated and judged, which resulted in the selection of the artists who will be featured in individual month-long solo art exhibitions. This was the ninth “Solo Art Series” Art Competition that the gallery has conducted.

Lynn had involved herself in a variety of Fine Arts learning that was still the nurture for her growth and development in painting. To meet the challenge of being superior to her previous self in creation, she had made an effort to enter for the juried exhibitions hosted by Taiwan Arts Associations from 1999 to 2013. She won many awards including 12 gold medals, and, therefore, qualified and invited as a member of Tai-Yang Art Society.
Since that time she has continued to participate annually in Art Exhibitions and invited to hold solo exhibitions at the public. Her art philosophy, however, is to create a new style of painting with Oriental language and artwork of goodness, beauty, and truth for sharing with this Universe and expressing the positive power of “Love”.
Starting from June 2016, she has actively participated in international juried art competitions and exhibitions. Right now, she lives and works in Chia-yi, Taiwan.
It is an attitude of life for beauty that I always, via painting with a free mind, love to depict the light and soft character of Oriental women in literature and art. My work is to express the safe and free of the spirit at rising and purifying, which fuses with the Oriental figures, the unique form style, the lines of representing the prospect of Chinese calligraphy, the experimental techniques as well as the ambiance of a living Zen.
The Statement of the “Attractive” series: A woman is like a flower with which her fragrance attracts bees and butterflies coming. Bee, butterfly and flower, however, there were all drowned in his/her perseverance. You can view more of Lynn’s art here on her website www.celesteprize.com/info/idu:96810/
