Driven by a profound respect for sacred traditions, Patrice Le Pera has dedicated herself to capturing disappearing cultures through her art. Working primarily in oil, her paintings honor the spiritual, ceremonial, and daily lives of Native American communities, preserving moments of continuity between ancestors and future generations.
Patrice is a listed portrait artist known for vivid, historically grounded representations of sacred and cultural traditions. Her work reflects years of relationship-building with Native communities and elders, emphasizing accuracy, reverence, and lived experience rather than romanticized narrative.
Her professional career includes illustration work with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, including children’s books and the fully illustrated MPTN Tribal Dictionary created to support language preservation. Additional illustrated publications include Raggamuffins and The Hallowe’en Pledge.
Patrice has served as Illustrator Coordinator for SCBWI and is an active member of WASCO and the Windsor Arts Council. Her paintings have been exhibited at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum and the Hembree House Gallery, and have received international recognition, including the Exhibizone Grand Prize, Biafarin Spirituality Award, Biafarin Scenic Award, and First Place Portrait, Sonoma County, California.
Her earlier career as a classically trained opera singer in Germany, along with decades of work as a Senior Contract Administrator for NASA’s Space Station Program and international diplomatic construction projects, shaped her disciplined approach and global cultural awareness.

My work is dedicated to honoring the living traditions and spiritual continuity of Native American communities, particularly those of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. Through oil painting, I seek to preserve quiet, human moments—acts of daily life, ceremony, and relationship with the natural world—that carry meaning across generations.
These paintings are not imagined narratives, but are grounded in years of relationship, listening, and learning. I strive to approach each subject with respect and accuracy, allowing the figures to exist with dignity and presence rather than as symbols or romanticized images.
Light, landscape, and gesture are used to reflect an inner stillness—moments where the boundary between the physical and the spiritual world becomes permeable. Water, firelight, and the natural environment are recurring elements, representing continuity, memory, and renewal.

Huaixuan Xiang is a New York-based illustrator, painter, and occult practitioner who graduated from the School of Visual Arts and is currently pursuing a master's degree at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She acts as a messenger, channeling insights from her meditations and dreams into her work, and seeks to create pieces that invite audiences to feel the full energy of human emotion.
Huaixuan has completed an extensive body of work for both personal and commercial clients. She served as the illustrator for the visual novel An Outcast in Another World and as a character designer for Somndus Studio. Her work has also been featured in numerous gallery shows and exhibitions, including the Amsterdam Whitney Gallery and ArtExpo New York.
Huaixuan's art is more than a reflection of her imagination. It is a universal language of emotion and mystery. Through her work, she invites viewers to resonate deeply and to see themselves reflected in the world she creates.
My work is deeply shaped by dreams and meditation, giving it a surreal and introspective quality. Before painting, I immerse myself in the memory of a dream — recalling its smallest details and, more importantly, reconnecting with the emotions I felt. I amplify those feelings until they become physically intense, and I hold onto that sensation throughout the entire process. The images and emotions in my work often echo shared experiences rooted in cultural memory, and I believe that as people grow older, they gradually lose touch with their feelings. My paintings are an effort to fully capture those feelings before they fade.
I believe the emotions an artist puts into a work do not disappear. They remain embedded like imprints. Because emotion is a universal language, viewers from any background can connect with what lives inside an image. I hope my paintings awaken personal memories and invite each viewer to feel something of their own.
Alongside traditional painting, I work digitally as a fantasy illustrator, exploring epic and spiritual themes influenced by meditation and the occult. Even in digital work, I strive to recreate the texture of traditional painting and center the inner emotional life of each character.

Connie Rogers is a self-taught photographer and acrylic artist whose work centers on translating atmosphere and motion into visually immersive imagery. Her art reflects a deep attentiveness to light, shadows and land capturing moments that feel both fleeting and timeless. Through her work, Rogers transforms natural and everyday scenes into expressive visual stories that invite extended viewing and contemplation.
Much of Rogers’ imagery originates from her travels and time spent in Colorado, NY, Georgia, California, and the Mediterranean region of France. These locations provide varied terrain, climate, and tonal character, all of which influence her creative direction. Rather than staging scenes, mostly, she responds intuitively to her surroundings—observing shifts in light, subtle movement in water or foliage, and the quiet tension between stillness and motion. I am a self-taught recognized and award-winning photographer whose creative practice has developed through years of dedicated observation, experimentation, and personal exploration. My work emerges from an ongoing dialogue between environment and emotion, where visual experience becomes a means of translating what I see into form. Landscape and waterscape subjects dominate my portfolio, shaped by a preference for motion, openness, and unrestrained expression. I am drawn to scenes that suggest momentum rather than stillness, where wind, water, light, or terrain appear unstable. (i.e. a bird lands in a tree and in a split second, disappears, OR avalanche control, using dynamite, can change the mountain terrain) These environments offer endless variation, allowing imagination to evolve without confinement or repetition. I respond intuitively, and impulsively to guide framing, perspective, and eventual interpretation.
For this showcase, I present work spanning multiple materials and methods, unified by a focus on the natural world. While my imagery originates in what lies before me, the final result extends beyond me. Color becomes my universal language. Undertones reflect my inner response. The scene transforms according to the feeling present at that precise instant, resulting in imagery shaped as much by perception as by location.
Here, my intention remains consistent: to create work that honors harmony, visual balance, and a sense of quiet connection. Whether applying paint or capturing a fleeting instant through a lens in the Rocky Mountains, or the Pacific Ocean, I work from the conviction that solitude outdoors carries profound meaning. Zhang Yayun began learning painting at an early age and later graduated from the Oil Painting Advanced Studies Class at the China Academy of Art. After stepping down from her leadership position in teaching, she re-entered the field of oil painting, where her modest achievements have inspired her creativity.
The Shandong Boshan Zhengjue Temple Calligraphy and Painting Academy has collected three of her works. During the national "fight against the epidemic," her oil painting on wood Chinese Peonies in Bloom won the highest award at the 2020 National Artists' Indoor Sketching and Creation Micro-Exhibition, which only offered "Selection" and "Excellent" awards.
Her oil paintings have been exhibited in the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League (CYLC) Welcomes the 20th National Congress · CYLC Directly Affiliated Institutions Calligraphy, Painting and Photography Exhibition and represented the CYLC in the Central Government Departments · Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China Calligraphy, Painting and Photography Exhibition.
Her works have also been published in national journals such as China Collections and Culture Monthly, and have been included in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Art Digital Resource Library and launched on the "National Culture and Tourism Digital Resource Library."
In recent years, Zhang Yayun's oil paintings have appeared on the international stage: her painting Harmonious Four Auspicious Animals received the "Special Recognition Award" at the 15th International Animal Art Competition (USA); Rolling Blessings and Longevity won an award at the Canada 2025 Still Life Art Online Competition; her still life Autumn Love won an award at the Canada 2025 International Still Life Art Online Competition; and her figure painting Childlike Innocence won third place at the "8th Women Artists Art Competition (USA)."

The lotus symbolizes nobility, integrity, holiness, auspiciousness, and other fine qualities in Chinese culture, and also implies blessings for a happy life. Its characteristic of growing out of the mud yet remaining unstained gives people trapped in hardship and confusion hope for the future.
During the "raging pandemic" in 2020, I hoped that people could break through the "mud of the raging pandemic" and return to an auspicious and beautiful time, so I picked up my brush to paint the hope in my heart. When people overcame the "pandemic," I created works such as Bloom, Autumn Lotus Elegance, and Dream Lotus, forming the Lotus Series.
In Autumn Lotus Elegance, I not only depict the lotus still blooming in the autumn wind but also show the lotus's calmness in facing the coming harsh winter of life through the withered petals and the initial formation of its fruit (seed pods). They symbolize my yearning for a holy, auspicious, and beautiful life.

Rita Bartel has been creating art her entire life. Formal training began at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, and helped to foster her early career. She currently belongs to several local artist’s associations as well as a few national/international art societies.
While retirement has afforded her the time to devote to her craft, rich life experience and travel have provided the grist for the mill. Influenced by artists such as Vermeer, Mary Cassatt, Picasso, and Tamara de Lempicka, she has created a body of work which epitomizes her interest in the face, the figure, and their incorporation into the rich landscapes of everyday life.
I am a modernist, realist, figurative painter, and I love to paint scenes from my travels and everyday life which tell a story. I take a subject which I find beautiful or interesting, and paint it in a way that allows the viewer to see it realistically for what it is, with a touch of mystery or style added to emphasize the other forces going on below the surface.
With oils, I accomplish this by using an acrylic underpainting, which I allow to show through in places. In soft pastels, I use watercolor, inks, or alcohol washes for the underpainting. For example in “Three Wise Men”, I used a multicolored geometric pattern as an underpainting to give the viewer an added perspective.
I love to paint my stories, and my goal is to have the viewer enter my world and share in my experiences.

Maureen grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. She inherited her artistic abilities from her father, Dick Scullin, who was a well-known commercial artist and who worked for various advertising agencies in Detroit from the early 1960s until 2000. When Maureen was young, she began her artistic education by spending countless hours learning from her father.
After many years of studying with her dad, Maureen moved out on her own and studied at The Parsons School of Design, NYC. Before Maureen even finished college, she was accepting illustration jobs from book publishers, advertising agencies and corporate clients. She had a successful career as an illustrator for many years.
After having a family she moved to Asheville, North Carolina where she enjoyed watching her girls grow up and where her family enjoyed the beautiful mountain scenery.
Today, Maureen is a full-time artist in the Raleigh, NC area. She concentrates on creating commissioned portraits, fine art landscapes, still life paintings, and figurative artwork. “I love painting almost every day and I enjoy learning new skills and methods to apply to my artwork,” Maureen says. “There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t want to be in my studio. It’s where I feel most at home.
My art journey began in Detroit with my father’s influence. He was a commercial artist who spent countless hours teaching me about art. I moved to the NYC area and I attended Parson’s School of Art. I then became an illustrator creating book covers, magazine illustrations, as well as art for Ad agencies. Later, I turned my focus to pursuing fine art. I continually try to improve my skills by attending artist workshops and studying the great masters. There is no “safe point” for me when I feel I know all and feel comfortable and confident in my work. There’s always more to learn. It’s a bit of an anxiety ride, but worth the journey. If I can step back, look at one of my paintings and feel that I might be getting somewhere…it’s worth the ride!

Canadian artist Anne Gudrun grew up in North Vancouver, British Columbia, where she was surrounded by the forest, mountains and ocean and could spend hours day-dreaming out her bedroom window, thinking and just observing life. Her visions and observations naturally made their way onto paper as intricate drawings of abstract form and colours, or life-like sketches of people and nature. She received her first oil paint set when she was nine years old and promptly taught herself to paint. Throughout her school years she excelled in the arts, and at 18 she set off to her ancestral home of Norway, spending a year at a small island art school. It was here that her love for the northern landscape and the beauty of nature took root.
Primarily a self-taught artist, Anne has studied locally with Canadian artists, as well as attending workshops and classes at Emily Carr College of Art and Design. Anne's unique style provides an uplifting and colourful statement piece and her work has been chosen for public art displays, receiving awards and special recognition in select online and international art competitions.
She lives in North Vancouver where she paints and creates from her studio, spending her summers in Norway and travelling. Her paintings reflect the beauty of nature with bold vibrancy and an innate sense of design.
I’ve always intuitively observed how lines, colours and shapes define the essence and personality of things, so when I paint I begin by breaking down the complete picture into its abstract forms. Whether creating the figurative representation of a person, or the abstraction of a forest or flower, I play with the interactions between the shapes and colours on canvas, each colour and shape becoming its own character and contributing to the work as a whole.
When looking closely at the details of the painting it appears abstract, but standing back you see the complete picture… The apparent random chaos of nature becoming form... The real from the abstract.
As a young girl I read stories of fairy-tale forests, trolls, myths and magic. It’s a world of wonder, adventure, mystery and transformation and it’s that world I want to re-create through my art, opening a doorway to a more brilliant reality.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that MB Mosk has been selected as one of the four winning artists of the gallery’s recent 21st “Solo Art Series” Art Competition. MB Mosk is a collaboration of husband and wife artists Marjorie and Bob Moskowitz. They will now have a month-long solo art exhibition, be featured on the gallery’s front page, on the Gallery’s YouTube Channel, as well as in the “Solo Art Series” archive.
MB is an award-winning artist team based in Southern California, USA. Marjorie is a landscape painter whose work emerged from an orientation with its roots in abstraction with influences as broad and diverse as Diebenkorn to Monet and Klimpt to Kiefer. Bob is a figurative painter first influenced by Caravaggio, Velazquez and Eakins and later by Edwin Dickenson and Lucien Freud. Their collaborative persona will now be promoted by the gallery with an extensive public relations campaign.
For this solo exhibition, the Gallery will distribute, promote and circulate press releases to over 550+ major News Outlets, including Premium FOX, CBS, and NBC Affiliated Sites, with guaranteed inclusion on Google News & Bing News. The Gallery will also provide social media distribution through LST’s broad social media network.
In addition, as part of their award package, MB will now be featured as a Light Space & Time – Artwork Archive promoted artist. MB’s art will also be featured on the gallery’s YouTube Channel and with an event postcard.
The “Solo Art Series” is a series of monthly solo art exhibitions for established artists who have a body of work to present to the public. Artist participants were asked to submit the following 3 components for the “Solo Art Series” competition: 1. Their art. 2. Their artist biography. 3. Their artist statement. These elements were evaluated and judged, which resulted in the selection of the artists who will be featured in individual month-long solo art exhibitions. This was the 21st “Solo Art Series” Art Competition that the gallery has conducted.

Artist Biography
Marjorie and Bob Moskowitz created a new persona, (MB Mosk) when they began collaborating, separate from their individual studio practices. These works are a curious hybrid only slightly resembling their own work. The process attempts to create a seamless blending to appear as a single artist has produced the painting. They draw on their shared approach to looking at the peculiar nature of people and the world. Their sense of irony and humor is a vehicle to allude to a deeper meaning below the surface.
Artist Statement
They plan the work together but never paint at the same time. They draw from an ever -growing image bank of photographs shot and collected from different parts of the country. They have always shared a sense of irony and humor.

Artist Biography
Judy is an award winning artist. Her artwork was selected as a juried finalist in Artist’s Magazine Annual Art Competition. Her work was published in Southwest Art Magazine and Artist Portfolio Magazine. She was also named the cover artist of Artist Portfolio Magazine. “My art is mostly from my own life experiences: my home, the town I've been living in for years, places I visited in the past, my children’s activities and people I met. I painted people or the moments in my life that moved me. I hope the viewers will relate my artwork to their own life” remarks Judy. While Judy paints various subjects, portraits are always Judy’s favorite. She is fascinated by every human face, whether an old woman in Nepal or a little girl next door. She not only wants to paint an individual's face but his/her soul. When asked about her painting style, Judy described her style as classic realism with a contemporary approach. She wants to show painterly quality of her work not photo realistic or total classic realism. She likes to use an abstract background to her portrait to show some contemporary feeling and use bold brush strokes to evoke emotions and inject energy. For medium choice, she loves Oil. Judy studied at Watts Atelier of the Arts and Palette & Chisel Academy of Fine Arts.

To me, art is a way to document my life and express my feelings. My art is mostly from my own life experiences: my home, the town I've been living in for years, places I visited in the past, my children’s activities and people I met.
