Roberta London's Floral Art at Port St Lucie Botanical GardensPORT ST. LUCIE, FL - April 13, 2013 /- Florida fine art photographer Roberta London is pleased to announce that her floral photography will be on exhibit in the Pavilion Building of the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens until May 1, 2013.

A solo exhibit of the fine art floral photography of Roberta London will be at the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens and Roberta states this about the event, “I am so pleased to show my work in the wonderful setting of this beautiful botanical garden.” The exhibit will feature dramatic photographic portraits of flowers printed on canvas that offer a close-up personal encounter with nature.

Roberta London made the transition to still photography from a career as a film and television producer after she moved from New York to Florida and was dazzled by the flowers in her new landscape. Most of her work is done in the field in natural light “where,” she notes, “the challenges can sometimes be daunting: wind, ever-changing light, insects moving around in the middle of my close-up shot.” However, London says “There are those magical moments when it all comes together – light, color, background, luscious blooms, and I look through the lens and think ‘something is happening here’ and I want that to happen for people when they see my work.”

The Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens are located at 2410 S.E. Westmorland Boulevard, Port St. Lucie FL and are open Wednesday through Saturday, 10AM to 4PM, and Sunday, Noon - 4 PM. For further information their telephone number is 772-337-1959 and their website is http://pslbotanicalgardens.org
