CORONA, CA – November 3, 2015– / Corona, California based artist Subodh Maheshwari is one of the latest recipients of the prestigious Bharat Gaurav award for art and culture in New Delhi, India. The Bharat Gaurav Award, which is now in its 38th year, has been awarded 40 people of Indian heritage and of various nationalities.
Awards are given to Indian people who promote the advancement of Indian arts and culture locally and abroad. As an American citizen, of Indian birth, Subodh often uses Mogul and Rajastani influences in her paintings as well as teaching Indian language and cuisine. Other recipients include influential doctors, politicians, philanthropists and actors representing India. Approximately 1600 people applied to be selected for this award, which only had 40 recipients this year.
When asked how she felt about receiving the award Subodh remarks, “I am deeply honored and humbled to receive this award. My cultural heritage is a very strong influence on every aspect of my life and I want to share it with people around the world.”
Subodh’s art will also be appearing at the Artblend Fall Show at the Artblend gallery in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida from October 24 through December 25, 2015. She will also be showing her works at the Spectrum show in Miami from December 2, 2015 through December 6, 2015 .

CORONA, CA – May 4, 2015 - / Fine artist Subodh Maheshwari will be returning along with her artwork to the Amsterdam Whitney Gallery in New York after 2 years absence. A selection of Subodh's acrylic work will also be appearing in Seoul, South Korea after a 27 year absence. This will also mark the first time Subodh has shown her art in a gallery or show this year.
After a very successful stay at the India Art Festival in Mumbai, India more of Subodh's work will appear in Seoul, South Korea at the Asiamania Art Festival. 27 years ago Subodh participated in the Cosmopolitan Art Exhibition during the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. The show will feature an array of asian influenced pieces; a perfect setting for Subodh's imaginative use of her own cultural elements.
The artist herself will be appearing alongside her paintings at the Amsterdam Whitney Galley's newest show - "A Mid-summer Night's Dream" Ruthie Tucker, Executive Director of the Amsterdam Whitney Gallery stated,"Subodh is a contemporary master who bathes her artwork in glistening pools of saturated hues, capturing the ethereal beauty and timeless vitality of the world." The Asiamania show in Seoul takes place from April 30th - May 3rd 2015 at the Indian Art Pavillion, C-Festival, Coex Center, World Trade Center, Seoul, South Korea.
"A Mid-summer Night's Dream" will run from June 19th - August 4th. Sudodh, herself will be at the Gala Chamapgn Reception: Thursday, June 25th 2015 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Amsterdam Whitney Gallery, New York, NY.

CORONA, CA - November 5, 2014 - / Fine artist Subodh Maheshwari will be appearing with some of her paintings at the India Art Festival while having her work also displayed at the Edinburgh Art Fair and also her artworks will be at Artblend, at the Spectrum Miami over the next month.
Beginning in Edinburgh, Scotland (November 13th - 16th) Subodh's artwork will be on international display. Soon after this, Subodh will appear alongside her paintings at the India Art Festival in Mumbai, India (November 27th – 30th). Finally, Subodh's art will appear with Artblend at the Spectrum Miami in Miami Florida, USA (Dec 3rd – 7th).
Subodh and/or her paintings will be appearing in Edinburgh Scotland the weekend of November 14th, Mumbai, India the weekend of November 28th and in Miami Florida the weekend of December 5th.
