NEW YORK, NY – August 18, 2015 - / Awarding winning Toni Silber-Delerive is one of 35 artists in a group show curated by Adriaan Van der Plas.
Toni Silber-Delerive lives and creates her art in New York City. She strives to let every colorful landscape form have its own integrity and meaning. In Red Intersections Quartered, the highways seen from above are the linear design element of the painting. Dissecting the image into four parts makes the roads even more abstract. She focuses on the aesthetics, shape and color of a composition. Using a modern aerial perspective she develops a dimensional visual vocabulary.
For the past 20 years, Adriaan Van Der Plas has been a conduit for artists whose work rises from the innermost human creative spirit – a vital and genuine sensibility found among the outsider and contemporary artists he represents.
Van der Plas Gallery is having a closing party for their Summer Salon 2015 exhibition on August 28th from 6-8PM. It is at Van der Plas Gallery, 156 Orchard Street, New York, NY 10002, (212) – 227 – 8983. For more information: adovanderplas@gmail.com and www.vanderplasgallery.com

BROOKLYN, NY – August 4, 2013 / - Toni Silber-Delerive is pleased to announce that her painting “Sushi” will be part of 440 Gallery’s Juried Exhibition. Twenty six artists working in a range of styles and media have been selected by Jennifer Coates, who has written reviews of art exhibits for publications such as Time Out New York, and Art in America. She has also taught in numerous art programs around the country.
This is 440 Gallery Gallery’s annual summer theme show “Food for Thought”, a national juried exhibition exploring food in all its manifestations. For many of the selected works the cliché "Starving Artist" has less to do with physical hunger and more to do with the disconnection between nourishment and the food we eat. The gallery’s exhibitions are frequently reviewed in the city and national press. Invitational art shows are a part of the gallery’s outreach to the artist community.
Toni’s painting “Sushi” shows her appreciation of unconventional views that come together in up-close, above-view paintings of food. While the colors and shapes of the sushi are traditional, the oversized proportions and graphic rendition seen from above make them unique.
This group art exhibit is at the 440 Gallery and their address is 440 Sixth Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11215. The exhibition will run from Thursday, August 21, through Saturday, September 13, 2014, with an opening reception on Thursday, August 21, from 6:00-9:00 PM. For further information and hours, check their website. www.440gallery.com
