Nicholson is pleased to announce that two of her watercolor paintings “Art Class” and “Silent Plea” were accepted into The Atlanta Artists Center’s June juried art exhibition, the “Summer Solstice". This event was open to all members, in all mediums and only 68 works were chosen by Debra Nadelhoffer who was the juror for this show.

A longtime resident of Atlanta, GA, Daryl R. Nicholson received a BS degree in Fine Art and Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and she also taught art in suburban Pittsburgh while taking many classes’ in art, design and photography at the University of Pittsburgh.
After a near 20-year hiatus to raise a family, she returned to the work force as a graphic artist in Atlanta. She has taken numerous workshops with such notable artists as Joy Hartsfield, Dolores Kennedy, Mel Stabin, Charles Reid, Don Andrews and Marie Matthews.
