NEW YORK CITY, NY – March 24, 2014/ – Award winning artist Subodh Maheshwari is pleased to announce that she is a featured Solo Artist in Artexpo New York 2014 in New York City, NY. Subodh has won many awards in both national and international venues, in a variety of categories. Artexpo New York 2014 was especially impressed with her symbolic works of art, and will display Maheshwari’s work at BOOTH S703.
Subodh creates art by fusing Eastern symbolism and Western composition influenced by Rajasthani and Moghul art that is accented by Hindi and Sanskrit passages. Her artwork is individual in style and has been described as diverse, emotional, mysterious, personal and humorous. Artexpo New York 2014 show dates are April 4 thru 6, 2014.
Subodh’s creative work is published by World Wide Art Books, “Important World Artists Vol. 1”, and in “International Contemporary Masters” Vol. VI & VII, and will also be included in Vol. VIII & IX. “My paintings give me space to feel and express my visual delight in color, shape and form”

About Artist Subodh Maheshwari:
Subodh Maheshwari lives and creates her art in Corona, California. Her artwork hangs in several public and private collections, including the Riverside Art Museum, Riverside, CA and Dr. Shyam and Dr. Sashi Parashar, Alkhobar, Saudi Arabia. She has also performed artwork on commission for Hinduism Today Magazine, Kapaa, Hawaii; “Rangoli” installation piece for Newport Beach Art Gallery, Newport Beach, CA; and “Philosophy of Life” installation piece for Lancaster City Art Museum, Lancaster, CA. Subodh Maheshwari is currently on the faculty of Riverside City College where she teaches art to upcoming artists. Her personal art studio, “Subodh Fine Art Studio” in Corona, CA, engages the delight of art with students of all ages.
